Charlotte, N.C., May 12—Through his mother, Mrs. C.C. Therem, as his best friend, Terrell Whelchel, 20, brought suit for $25,000 here today against W.C. Wilkinson as owner of the house the Welchells occupy and the Acme Plumbing company, charging that he was almost asphyxiated by improper installation of a gas heater for furnishing hot water.
