Sunnyside

Mrs. Sarah Jane Meachem died at her home near Antioch church Saturday night, at the age of about 85. She leaves several children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Claude Neville and her children spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. John Morrow.

Teer

Mr. and Mrs. S.E. Teer attended a big family reunion at Swepsonville Sunday.

White Cross

A great many White Cross people went to the circus in Durham last week.

Luico Lloyd and D.B. Woods went on a visit to Hillsboro the other day.

Frosty

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bland of Pittsboro spent the week-end with T.S. Harris.

Miss Laura Harris made a visit recently to her relatives in Pittsboro.

Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Morgan of Niagara, N.C., were in Frosty Sunday to call on R.W. Morgan.

The Atwater boy who was run over by a wagon and had his leg broken is back home from the hospital and is getting along well.

Elm Grove

There will be two services at the Cross Roads church the first Sunday in November. The singing classes of the Carrboro and Hillsboro Baptist churches will be present to help in the singing.

Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Sharp spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Dickson in Burlington.

Charles W. Davis, superintendent of the Rosemary school, spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Davis.

Mrs. M.C. Patterson and her little daughter, Mary Bynum, are visiting relatives in Raleigh and Cary.
