Raleigh, Oct. 6—After five days of trial, said to be one of the most interesting in the United States District Court here in many years, the case of Eddie Hurt, army deserter, charged with the murder of Angelo Kanaris, a private at Fort Bragg, August 31, 1922, is expected to go to the jury late this afternoon.
The presentation of evidence was completed yesterday. Argument by attorney sis expected to be completed this afternoon.
