Will Deatheridge, a white man, and Walter Flippin, colored, were arrested near Germanton Tuesday by Federal Prohibition Agents when they were found on the highway in charge of a Ford car containing 80 gallons of whiskey. The car was broken down when the officers came upon it. Both men, who claim to be from Winston-Salem, were brought here and placed in the county jail, pending a preliminary hearing. The whiskey was also placed in the hail here.
