George Crutchfield Died in South Alamance

Burlington, March 15--Mr. George Crutchfield died at his home near Oaks, south Alamance, Wednesday after an illness of several years. He was 78 years old.

Funeral services were held from Salem M.P. church Thursday morning by Rev. Herbert Isley and the body interred there. Mr. Crutchfield is survived by five children, of whom Mrs. Gurney Wright, of this place, is one.
