James O. Dent, 82, Has Died of Cancer, March 15, 1924

James O. Dent, aged 82, died Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at his home on St. Charles Street. He had been ill with cancer for several months. Surviving is his wife.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home, conducted by Rev. J. Frank Armstrong, pastor of the Forest Hill Methodist Church, and interment was made in Oakwood cemetery.
