Sad Death of Mrs. Emma Lawson. . . Lawsonville Lady Passed Away Friday at Winston-Salem Hospital—Infant Died Same Day Its Mother Was Buried

Mrs. Emma Lawson, wife of Frank Lawson of the Lawsonville section, died in a Winston-Salem hospital Friday, after an illness of only a few days. Mrs. Lawson left an infant only a few days old, the child also dying on Sunday.

Mrs. Lawson, who was aged 31 years, was an excellent Christian woman. She is survived by her husband and seven children, the oldest being only 11 years of age. She was a daughter of Mr. John Spencer of Peter’s Creek township.

The funeral and burial was held on Sunday afternoon at Snow Hill church, conducted by Rev. Mr. Lineberger. A large concourse of friends and relatives were in attendance at the funeral.
