Automobile Accident Deaths Rise 45% in June, 1924

The Five Per Cent Troublemakers

A large life insurance company has made the statement that for last June the death rate from disease among its policyholders was the lowest ever known, but that automobile accidents showed an increase of 45 per cent over the preceding month.

Authorities in Atlanta declare that practically all the automobile accidents in that city come from five per cent of the drivers.

The question of safety for the public receiving largely around the possibility of controlling a small per cent of drivers or of keeping them off the roads and streets entirely.
