Judge Oliver H. Allen Dead

Kinston, Dec. 16—Judge Oliver H. Allen, a native of Wake County, died here this morning at the age of 75.

Judge Allen was appointed to the Superior Court bench in 1897. He retired on January 19, 1923, and has been an emergency judge since his retirement.

Death came to the aged jurist at his residence here this morning at 8 o’clock. He had been in failing health for some months, death coming as a result of complications.
