Salisbury, August 6—The body of Albert L. Leazer arrived today from overseas and will be interred at the Reformed cemetery near China Grove. Private Leager was a brother of John W. Leager, whose body was brought from France some weeks ago and interred at China Grove. Their mother lives in Kannapolis.
From The Charlotte News, Aug. 6, 1921. Soldier’s name was spelled Leazer in first to references in newspaper article and Leager in second two references in the story. I don’t know which is correct.
