Rev. D.M. Howell Hospitalized Following Nervous Breakdown, May 9, 1923

Pastor D.V. Howell of the M.E. church here suffered a nervous breakdown the past week and has entered a sanatorium for treatment. It is thought that he will recover after a few days rest and treatment.

Mr. Howell and his family have the sincere sympathy of their many friends on this circuit. Mrs. Howell and children will visit her parents in Western North Carolina during Mr. Howell’s absence.
