C.A. Hoyle, principal of the Carrboro school, seems to be at the end of a run of bad luck in the way of sickness. Early in December he had appendicitis. On top of that came sinus trouble with a series of painful treatments by a specialist. All this compelled Mr. Hoyle to give up his graduate work, which he had been doing at the University. He is well now.
