Mrs. Isaac Manning and her cousin, Miss Sally Taylor, gave a bridge party Saturday night at Mrs. Manning’s home. There were six tables. Miss Taylor was hostess to between 75 and 100 young men and young women at a dance at the Gimghoul Hall Tuesday night.
Through an oversight Parker Daggett’s visit to Chapel Hill was not chronicled in the last issue. He was with President and Mrs. Chase for two or three days.
Miss Carrie Moses came from Raleigh Saturday to spend the week-end in Chapel Hill. Mrs. H.R. Huse is back from Durham with her new daughter.
Miss Guelda Elliott went to Lexington last week to attend the funeral of her great-aunt.
Misses Margaret Duncan, Flossie Foster, Minnie Queen, Vera Ward, Miriam Frost, and Grace White have moved into one of Miss Allice Jones’ houses on North Street.
Miss Carrie Moses came from Raleigh Saturday to spend the week-end in Chapel Hill.
