Lenoir, March 7—George Cox, a son of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Cox of this city, was killed in Chicago last Friday while working for the R.R. Donnelly and Sons Company, a large printing and publishing house. Young Cox was an electrician for this house, having accepted this position a number of months ago, following the completion of an electrical course at a school in Chicago.
The body arrived here Monday evening, brought over from Morganton where it arrived on a Southern train. The funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 from the Lenoir Baptist church. Interment was made in the Belleview Cemetery. A representative of the publishing house accompanied the corpse here as an escort.
