Someone Tried to Poison 70 Pupils and Their Teacher, Oct. 21, 1926

Somerset, Ky., Oct. 18 (AP)—What school and Pulaski County authorities believe was an attempt to poison 70 pupils and the teacher of Short Creek, a one-room school house 10 miles from here today, was frustrated when the teacher, Mrs. Bertha Mize, discovered that acid had been put in the water cooler.
