Paul Sieloff, age 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Sieloff, was struck by an automobile driven by Mrs. O.G. Dunn on Griffith street this morning, shortly before noon, and is now at a local hospital, undergoing an examination. An X-ray examination of his head showed only a few cuts without any signs of concussion. Whether any internal injuries took place is not yet known.
Paul, in company with another boy, was taking a ride on the back of a wagon. The negro turned around and the two youngsters jumped off in a hurry, getting down backwards. Paul darted to one side just in time to be struck by Mrs. Dunn’s machine. It is not known whether the wheels of the car ran over the boy. When questioned, he said that he did not believe any of the wheels passed over his body.
Mrs. Dunn is very much upset about the accident in spite of the fact that it was entirely unavoidable.
