Irving Langley, 3, Killed in Street in Front of His Home, Oct. 18, 1924

Wilson Child Killed by Auto

Wilson, N.C., Oct. 18—Irving Langley, 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Langley, was instantly killed this morning when struck by an automobile in the street in front of his home. John Pratt, negro driver of the automobile, is being held by the police charged with reckless driving. The negro claims that the accident was unavoidable.
