The “Silver Tea” which was given by the Girl Scouts at Scout Hall last Saturday afternoon was so largely attended the contributions were so generous that it might well have been called a “Bill” tea as the Cashier’s Box at the conclusion of the afternoon held nearly as many pieces of currency as pieces of silver.
The proceeds of the tea which far exceeded expectations will be used to pay off the last mortgage on the Scout Building. The Scouts wish to thank every one for making the tea such a splendid success.
