Mr. and Mrs. F.T. Burney spent last week in Greensboro.
Mrs. R.W. Tate and Mr. Thomas Tate visited relatives in Wilmington last Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mrs. F.T. Wooten has returned from Wadesboro where she has been with her sick daughter, Mrs. Patrick Taylor. Mrs. Taylor is improving very rapidly.
Mrs. J.A. Brown is visiting relatives and friends in Greensboro.
Mrs. R.W. Tate is in Raleigh visiting relatives.
Miss Inez Lewis spent the past week-end in Tabor as guests of her parents.
Miss Dynabel Floyd spent the week-end at her home in Fairmont.
The Ladies’ Aid Society met with Mrs. S.P. Brown Wednesday afternoon.
The Chadbourn Memorial Association will meet with Mrs. Elroy Bailey Thursday afternoon.
Quite an enjoyable affair was the fish stew given at Lake Waccamaw last Thursday night. Those enjoying it were Misses Floyd, Rogers, Council, Fant and Messrs. Lacy and Thomas Tate, Wooten, Thompson and Winslow
