Oxford, Oct. 20—The funeral services for Mrs. T.C. Rogers, 72, of Wilton, were held this afternoon from Banks Methodist Church with Rev. E.M. Sharpe, pastor of the Oxford Methodist Church, officiating, and assisted by Rev. N.H.D. Wilson of Elizabeth City, a former pastor of the deceased. Burial took place in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. J.F. Veasey of Oxford, one sister, Mrs. J.H. Hunt of Oxford, and one brother, Col. Wm. A. Bobbitt of Farmville.
Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Banks Methodist Church. She was highly esteemed and loved by those who knew her best. She has been in failing health for several years.
