The 10,000 free tickets to be given away by the Wake County Fair Association to the children of Wayne and adjoining counties have just been received by the secretary of the Fair. These tickets will be sent out this week to the principals of every school in the county and every parent should see to it that their child gets one of these tickets. These tickets have a detachable coupon which will entitle the child to a free ride on one of the many riding devices during the Fair.
The Fair Association has requested The News to advise parents who have children who are not of school age that these children will be recognized at the fair and coupons for free rides will be given them.
Tuesday, October 28th, will be Wayne County Day and every exhibit will be in its place. The exhibit buildings, amusement attractions and everything else will start promptly on the arrival of the Parade at the Fair Grounds.
