Concord, N.C., January 8th 1925
Standing on the brink of the grave, arouses the serious reflections of thinking beings, when we weep by the bier of a friend and brother, still in the sleep of death, his virtues stand out upon the past distinct and vivid.
It is true with our departed brother, Wm. H. Heglar, a highly esteemed member of Concord Lodge No. 51 K. of P., who is no more.
Therefore be it resolved:
1st,That we put upon our record his loyalty, true friendship and exemplary character as a guide for our won walking.
2nd, That we humbly bow in submission to this sorrowful passing and assure his bereaved ones that their loss is mourned as ours also.
3rd, That these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of the Lodge as a memorial, published in The Concord Times, and a copy presented to thefamkly of our lamented brother.
