High Point, Aug. 9 (AP)—Two young men were killed and two others seriously injured this morning shortly after 12 o’clock on the highway leading from Asheboro to Franklinville, when the roadster in which they were riding crashed into an automobile parked by the side of the road, according to information received her this morning.
The dead are Joseph York, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Maness, both of Ramseur. The injured are Guy York, 19, and Everett Manness, brothers of the dead boys.
The two boys died at an Asheboro hospital early this morning where they were taken immediately after the accident by a party in a passing automobile.
