That peaches of the highest quality can be raised here has been demonstrated more than once, and we wish some enterprising farmer would go into the business on a commercial scale. Mr. I. O. Abbitt placed on our desk two of the finest peaches we have ever seen, not excepting the famous Sand Hill variety. They were simply perfect, in size, color and taste. In fact they looked like pictures.
