Charlotte, Aug. 23 (AP)—Ben C Sharpe, federal prohibition administrator for the eighth district, comprised of Georgia and the Carolinas, left for his summer home at Glendale, N.C. today following a conference with office members here.
Mr. Sharpe would make no statement prior to departure relative to the outbreak in Washington a week following the administrator’s statement declaring the eighth district has “more liquor than at any time during the last three years.”
