Surprised that Marvin Wilson Married July 26 to Margaret York, 1926

Marvin Wilson Married. . . Wed to Margaret York of Raleigh on the 26th of July

A few days ago the report got out that somebody had seen, in the office of the Register of Deeds in Hillsboro, a record of the marriage of Marvin Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Wilson. The report was greeted at first with considerable doubting. But, sure enough, the record is there.

Mr. Wilson was married to Miss Margaret York in Hillsboro Monday, July 26, by the Presbyterian minister, Rev. H. S. Bradshaw. The witnesses were J. T. Gresham Jr. of Warsaw, E. F. Yarborough of Louisburg, and A. C. Justice of Chapel Hill. The groom’s age was given as 21 and the bride’s as 19.

Mr. Wilson is in the University law school and will take the bar examination for his license this month. Mrs. Wilson, who comes from Raleigh, is a student in the Summer School.
