Greensboro, N.C., Aug. 18 (AP)—Meagre reports reaching this city state that three convicts, names unknown, escape from Ridge convict camp near Melvin, east of here this morning. The men are reported to have overpowered Guard Coble and escaped after severely beating him. Bloodhounds were put on the trail.
