Winston-Salem, Aug. 12—Five persons were seriously injured in an automobile accident near Elkin this afternoon, according to advices received here tonight.
The injured are: Mrs. G. G. Freeze, severe bruises about the head; Miss Julian Neill, broken arm and lacerations; Miss Nevada Freeze, body bruises; C. L. Kelly, lacerations; and Hugh A. Freeze, cuts on arm.
The party, all from Mooresville, were en route to Roaring Gap when their automobile turned over at a curve six miles from Elkin on the Yadkinville road.
The injured were taken to a hospital at Elkin for medical attention.
