Boy Struck by Car Dies from Injuries

Salisbury, Aug. 12—An automobile accident that proved fatal to Lonnie Dancey, 8-year-old boy, occurred on North Long Street Monday morning early. The boy, who was the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Dancey, died in the Salisbury hospital and was buried Wednesday afternoon.

The little fellow ran from behind a truck just in time to be struck by a car driven by J. S. Benson, who was on his way to Dukeville. No blame was attached to Mr. Benson, who stopped his car and picked up the injured boy and rushed him to the hospital.
