Mr. and Mrs. Will Enloe and family, Lafayette, Ga., are here visiting relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Keener, Mrs. J. B. Keener of Winston-Salem, Mrs. E. E. Bain of Greensboro, and Miss Annie Jo Hooper spent Wednesday in Andrews.

Mrs. J. L. Broyles and Mrs. Hannah Hall of Webster, Mrs. L. C. Hall, Mrs. D. M. Hall and Miss Dorothy Moore were in Asheville Monday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Cole Allison and Mrs. Frank Conroy.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cunningham of Durham are guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Hooker.

?. H. Wilson and daughters, Misses Hicks(?) and Mary Alma, Misses Margaret Sherrill and Annie Joe Hooper were in Asheville Monday shopping.

Misses Geraldine and Eloise Fulbright, who have been visiting their cousins, Misses Ruth and Allie Wilson, returned t their home in Winter, Ga., Friday.

Miss Margaret Sherrill spent a few days I Franklin last week.

Miss Maude Propst, guest of Miss Lucile Pattillo of Franklin, visited friends here the first of the week.

Mrs. M. O. Williams of Eagle Lake, Fla., who is spending the summer here, is spending this week in Franklin, attending the Truett-McConnell meeting. Quite a number of Sylva people are going over these services.

Miss Bessie Williams, a former teacher of Dillsboro graded school, and sister, Miss Mary Williams, who have been guests of Mrs. J. Cole Cannon, have returned to their home at Cofield, N.C.

Mr. B. O. Painter and Mrs. R. U. Sutton were visitors in Asheville on last Thursday.

Mrs. J. C. Cannon is entertaining this week her sister, Mrs. D. T. Watkins of Asheville.

Miss Louise Moody, who has been visiting Miss Edith Oliver and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Allen, has returned to her home in Waynesville.

Mr. R. M. Dillard of Atlanta is visiting relatives here.

Mrs. G. M. Ferguson and Miss Amy Jones of Bryson City were in town Thursday.

Mr. O. J. Moore left for Ceredo, West Virginia, the last of the week.

Mrs. Sadie J. Long, Mrs. Carrie McKee, Miss Mayme Long and Mr. Geo Bryson of Sweetwater, Tenn., motored to Robbinsville Wednesday.

Messrs. Billy Davis and James Bryson of Cullowhee were in Gainsville, Ga., Monday on business.

Mrs. Jeff Heddon and children, who have been visiting relatives in Hayesville and Hiawassee, Ga., returned home Monday.

Miss Dorothy McKee and Mr. Alex Kiser of Brevard spent Sunday with Miss McKee’s mother, Mrs. Carrie McKee.

Mrs. A. A. Buchanan and children have returned after a visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Brown of Cullowhee. Her little niece, Carralulu Brown, accompanied them home for a visit.

Mr. George Bryson of Sweetwater, Tenn., is visiting his sister, Mrs. Carrie McKee.

Mrs. A. F. Clouse and small son and Jack Warren were week end visitors in Canton at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Warren.

Carl Buchanan, who has a position at Robbinsville, spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Buchanan.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Ford King have as guests Mr. and Mrs. John G. White and Bettie of Union Town, Ala. They will be here for several weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Freeze, who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Freeze at their home on Sylvan Heights, have returned to High Point.
