The Farmers Convention which met in Raleigh last week was an event worthwhile, and we are glad so many from this good County attended. We hope to have an article from one of the ladies telling about this great meeting. There was only one regret for us, and that was our friend Mr. Lewis H. Daniel had a sore throat and could not enter the hog-calling contest.
The following represented Person County: Mr. and Mrs. J. Burton Satterfield, Mr. and Mrs. Jno. D. Winstead, Mr. L. H. Daniel, Miss Bessie Heath Daniel, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gentry, Misses Mary and Joy Wilkerson and Mr. J. C. Wagstaff.
