Mrs. John Paylor attended the funeral services Saturday, July 31, of her uncle, Mr. G. C. Wagstaff of Dunn, N.C.
Mr. Wagstaff is the last of the old set; he was born in Person County, near Concord church, March 2nd, 1847, son of Britton Wagstaff He leaves three daughters, Mrs. J. B. Lee of Dunn, Mrs. J. M. Lee of Clinton, and Mrs. Maude Smith of Dunn. His body was laid to rest in the Lee Cemetery near ???, beside his wife who died 10 years ago in April.
