A.G. James, who lives on Fearing street and passes The Advance shop nearly every day on his way to and from his work at Selig’s, stopped in long enough Monday afternoon to leave some delicious figs on the desk of one of the weary workers. The figs were fully twice the size of ordinary figs and their sides were literally bursting with delicious flavor. Mr. James declared that there are even larger ones on his fig trees than those.
