C.C. Pritchard, son of P.G. Pritchard of Providence, and former bookkeeper for the Richmond Cedar Works, was Monday appointed by the County Commissioners to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Charles Carmine.
Mr. Carmine has made an efficient and popular County official but was compelled to resign on account of the health of his wife, for whom physicians have prescribed a higher climate. Mr. Carmine plans to move to the Pinehurst region in the new future. His resignation was handed to the Board Monday evening.
