Thunderstorm at Blewett's Falls Takes Down Goldsboro's Electricity, Sept. 6, 1922

City Goes Dark From 10:50—12:35

At 10 minutes to 11 o’clock last night the electric current in Goldsboro went off and the town remained in darkness for an hour and 45 minutes, according to police records.

A thunder storm at Blewett’s Falls was said to be responsible.
