Winston-Salem, Nov. 1—Two lives were lost in a fire which badly damaged a two-story frame house and rooming house conducted by Miss Ora Brock on North Liberty Street at 2:30 this morning. Antonio Borzi, an Italian, and an expert tile fitter, and James A. Dargan, a plumber, formerly of Savannah, Ga., were the names of the two men who lost their live by suffocation though both bodies were badly burned. Several of the other roomers had narrow escapes.
