Goldsboro, Oct. 4—Work was begun on Goldsboro’s new hotel yesterday and activities will be strenuous until the structure is completed in September, 1925. The first two shovelsful of earth were removed by J.V. Vanstory, proprietor of the Kennon Hotel, and Walter Denmark, secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, respectively, and a picture of the “operation” was taken by A.O. Clement.
