All short term schools in Lincoln County will open on Monday, Nov. 3rd. This means that all schools which run for a six-month term will open on that date. The compulsory school law will be enforced from the beginning and all pupils between seven and 14 years of age will be required to enroll on the opening day. The attendance laws are very strict and are being rigidly enforced and parents and guardians of children of compulsory age are required by law to adhere strictly to the requirements of the law.
The longer term schools have already open with splendid enrollment and a banner school year is anticipated.
