Oxford, July 29—Rev. C.A. Upchurch was the victim of a practical joke last Sunday. He is pastor of Mt. Zion, Stovall and Bullock churches. Sunday he left his car standing in front of Bullock church while he was in the church. He locked his car and put the key in his pocket. It is not understood how the boys got the lock from his pocket. They unlocked the car drove it away, and removed the tires.
And then they replaced new tires, filled the tank with gasoline, loaded the car with fruit and vegetables, and drove it back to the church and left it.
