The force of laborers and workmen who are engaged in the excavating for Goldsboro’s new hotel are making rapid progress with the same, and already the site has begun to have the semblance of what will be seen there in the course of a month.
The contractors agreed to have the big eight-story hotel, with its more than 200 rooms and 12 stores in readiness for occupancy within 11 months. In order to do this, haste will be one of the slogans of those who will erect the structure.
Incidentally operations at that point are attracting much interest, and crowds can be seen standing about each day, viewing the work which is in progress.
