Mr. W.J. Shuford has been showing blooms from garden peas and asking the question, “Can anybody beat it?” He sowed the peas so that they would come up in the fall, covered them during the winter and had them hustling in February. Unless frost catches the vines and blooms, he expects to be indulging in home grown peas in the next few weeks.
