Milton Clapp, Railway Conductor, Buys Home in Charlotte, May 15, 1921

Badin Man Buys Myers Park Home

Captain Milton Clapp, for several years a resident of Badin, has moved to Charlotte and has purchased a home on Briarwood Road, near Queens College in Myers Park. The home was built recently by the Myers Park Homes company and was sold to Captain Clapp through W.C. Harris and Co., realty agents. The consideration was not announced, but it was understood to have been in the neighborhood of $17,000.

Captain Clapp has been a railway conductor for many years. His run until recently made it convenient for him to reside in Badin. A change made Charlotte a terminal point in his run, so he moved his family here and purchased a home.
