Tom Guthrie Tries First Case for City

Thomas C. Guthrie Jr., prosecuted his first case as city solicitor Wednesday, representing the state against Ed. McKee and Tom Franklin, charged with pistol dueling on the public streets.

Mr. Guthrie was appointed solicitor by the commissioners Tuesday afternoon, succeeding Frank H. Kennedy.
