Interest in the weekly golf events continues in spite of hot weather, peaches, picnics and ball games. The competition between the players grows keener every week. E.T. McKeithan captured the sweepstakes last Wednesday and “Ed” Has been wearing a broad smile ever since. Jerry Healy was a close second and C.L. Hayes was right behind Jerry. The Medical profession scored heavy in the Saturday Tournament, Dr. Mudgett and Dr. Bowman being tied for first honors with a score of 75.
