Mrs. Ben Burnett of Hobgood was burned to death and her husband and Mrs. Annie Bailey and Mrs. Sarah Shirley, also of Hobgood, were injured when the automobile in which they were riding ran into a ditch and caught fire. The party had started to a camp meeting at Fulson, and the wreck occurred near the Wayne County home, six miles from Goldsboro.
