Prentiss Cole and Harry Coleman, two young white men, pleaded guilty Tuesday to the charge of forging a check. They have not yet been sentenced.
W.J. Reynolds entered a plea of guilty to the charge of receiving more than a quart of liquor in 15 days. He has not yet been sentenced.
John Holme White entered a plea of guilty to the charge of gaming and judgment was suspended on the sentence of 30 days in jail which was pronounced by Judge Harding.
Monroe Lwing, negro, was being tried for abandonment when court recessed at 1 o’clock.
