Johnson Turned to Crime to Convince Bride He Was Millionaire, May 24, 1925
Atlanta, Ga., May 23—Declaring he turned bandit to keep his pretty 16-year-old bride thinking he was a millionaire, R.L. Johnson, alias Travis, tonight confessed to detectives that he “stuck-up” five stores here and had stolen six automobiles.
