Not Much Crime in Williamston, May 26, 1925

Recorder's Court Has a Dull Day

Resting in the quiet after the storm, one might say of the Recorders court, judging form the small dockets and the trifling cases that have appeared on them for the past two weeks.

There were only two cases brought up this morning, and both defendants were cleared.

The first one was against Will Casper, charging him with enticing labor. He was found not guilty.

Elbert Bennett was charged with an assault, and he was also found not guilty by Recorder Smith.
