An event of unusual interest occurred in Brevard December 3, 1921. This was the marriage of Mr. Raymond Glenn and Miss Rebekah Blythe.
Mr. Glenn is one of the prominent business men of Brevard, engaged in the moving picture business here and in other towns. The bride, Miss Rebekah Blythe, is the lovely daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Blythe. Her happy disposition and many attractive traits of character enabled her to count her friends by the number of inhabitants of our town.
They were united in marriage by Rev. Mr. Ligon, pastor of the Presbyterian church at Hendersonville. Immediately after the marriage, at the home of the bride’s parents, they left on a train for a short visit to points in the south. It is hoped by their many friends that they will make their home in Brevard.
