Jim Green, negro, was badly scalded on the leg Tuesday morning shortly after 9 o’clock as the result of a fall at the plant of the Consolidated Veneer and Panel company, where he was employed.
The negro was placed in the ambulance of J.W. Sechrest and Son and hurried to a local hospital for medical attention.
Green was standing on a platform when his foot slipped and he fell into the boiling water.
